I am not a metrologist, nor does my company have any real semblance of a metrology department, which is the source of our problems. We need the right thermometer for use to measure the internal temperature of a chemical vacuum oven between at least 60*C to 120*C and internal pressures between laboratory atmosphere pressures and less than 5 mm Hg with calibrated accuracy valid at all pressures stated and with precision of +/- 2*C. This is for drying USP standards. Can somebody please tell me what the most appropriate thermometer is for that purpose? I know it’s not what we’re using, and I keep running into dead ends trying to find the right tool.
